Pantosec D SR Capsule is a dual-action prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and peptic ulcers. It effectively reduces excess stomach acid and controls nausea, providing quick relief from heartburn and indigestion.

How to Use

Common Effects
- Diarrhoea, Dry mouth, Headache, Weakness, and Mild Nausea.
*Usually temporary. Drink plenty of water for dry mouth.
Mechanism of Action
Pantoprazole blocks the "proton pump" in stomach cells to stop acid secretion. Domperidone increases the motility of the stomach and intestines, preventing acid from refluxing back into the food pipe.
Safety Advice
Avoid alcohol and smoking as they worsen reflux. Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver disorders. Inform your doctor if you have serious heart conditions.
Use only under medical supervision. Not recommended during pregnancy unless essential. Do not take with Rilpivirine. Long-term use (>1 year) may drop magnesium levels; regular checkups are advised.
Missed Dose: Take as soon as remembered. Skip if near next dose. Never double the dose.
